The boil advisory for Nickerson has been lifted.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment stated an electrical problem led to a loss of pressure in the water supply, but it’s been fixed and the water is safe to drink again.

The KDHE stated lab samples collected from Nickerson water did not show any evidence of contamination. Loss of water pressure can lead to bacterial contamination, but the health department stated that did not occur.
