SICILY ISLAND (News Release) – Update: Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2pm
A boil advisory has been LIFTED for the Village of Sicily Island Water System.
A boil advisory has been issued for the Village of Sicily Island Water System.
The Village of Sicily Island is making repairs to the water system and to do so the water must be shut off today (Tue, May 24, 2016) while the repairs take place.
Therefore, as a precaution, the Village of Sicily Island Water System is issuing a boil advisory effective immediately.
This advisory is in effect until further notice.
It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:
+ Boil water for (1) one full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
