Boil advisory still in effect for Syracuse, Nebraska

SYRACUSE, Neb. (City of Syracuse Press Release) – The city of Syracuse is advising its utility customers to continue to boil their tap water or use bottled water.

This problem is harmful microbes may be present in the water that can cause diarrhea, cramps, nausea, headaches and may especially pose health risks for infants, the elderly and those with severely compromised immune systems.

Bring tap water to a boil and let cool before using. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and preparing food until further notice.
