The Grand Prairie Water System has issued a boil water advisory.

The advisory is for customers East of the well site on  Faubourg Road and all adjoining roads until further notice. Crews are working to repair a water line.

Residents effected should boil water for one full minute in a clean container prior to drinking it, cooking with it, brushing teeth or preparing food.

The one-minute boil time begins after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.

The advisory is until further notice.
