Chapin, SC (WLTX)  A boil water advisory has been issued for the Chapin area.

Residents of Oxenbridge Way (houses 421 and higher) and all residents on Inlet Place, Dawn Island Trail and Dawn Island Court are under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.

 There was a break in the water line for this area, and a precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been advised by the Chapin Utilities Department. Residents should vigorously boil their water for one minute prior to drinking and cooking.

 The advisory will remain in effect until satisfactory results are received from the lab.
