The company says there was a loss of disinfection of water entering the distribution system.
Suez is advising that water should not be ingested without boiling it first.
Bring all water to a boil for one minute and let it cool before using.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.
Suez will inform customers when the advisory is lifted.
