A boil advisory is in effect for residents of Cushing tonight.

The city has issued a statement this morning saying a drinking water advisory has been issued due to a water main break.

Residents are asked to conserve water and it is recommended that all water used for drinking be boiled before consumed.

Authorities did deliver water to residents in Cushing today.

The City Council hope to have the ban lifted by Monday,
