A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the community of Tiverton.

Director of Public Works in Kincardine, Adam Weiser, tells Bayshore Broadcasting News an electricity outage on Sunday caused a loss of pressure in the water system.

He says officials will reevaluate the situation on Monday.

The Grey-Bruce Health Unit deemed the precautionary boil water advisory necessary.
