GARDENDALE, Texas (Local 2/Fox 24) – A boil water advisory has been issued for the residents of Gardendale.

According to a release, contractors working in the area broke a line prompting the advisory.

Residents are asked to boil water for two minutes before drinking or to purchase bottled water.

No official timetable was announced for the advisory.
