Boil water advisory issued for Mangonia Park

MANGONIA PARK, Fla. (CBS12) — Utility customers in the city of Mangonia Park are under another boil water advisory.
There was a boil water notice issued last week.
It was lifted earlier this week.
According to town manager Ken Metcalf, Mangonia Park had to re-issue the boil water notice because not enough water samples were taken.
A water pipe broke which caused the water pressure to fall below the regulated service level at the Water Treatment Plant in Mangonia Park.
All water used for drinking, cooking, ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled for one minute.
People are also asked to use bottled water.
The advisory will remain in effect until a survey shows the water is safe to drink.
