Boil water advisory issued in Spottsville area

HENDERSON – The Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for a significant portion of the Spottsville area.
The water district had to complete work on a broken water main and is issuing a boil advisory for customers with the following addresses: All of East WH Negley Road, all of Farley Road, all of Peach Orchard Road, all of Chaney Road, 9877 Gregory Road, 5829 through 6845 Hatchett Mill Road, and 8257 through 8540 Old U.S. 60.
Residents are advised to boil water for five minutes before consuming.
According to news release, "There is a possibility customers may experience cloudy or discolored water.
If your water is discolored, please open several cold water faucets until the water runs clear before using.
This should typically take only a few minutes."
