A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for Barkley Lake Water District customers southwest of Cadiz.  District Manager John Herring says customers along the South Road to New Hope Road, Kentucky 272 and South Montgomery are affected.  The advisory also includes Caledonia, New Hope Church Road, Caledonia-Pee Dee Road, Old Hopkinsville Road, North and South Tanyard Road and Kentucky 525.

Herring says the advisory was issued following a water main break near the intersection of Kentucky 272 and South Tanyard Road.  The advisory will remain in place until at least Wednesday afternoon.
