AMBRIDGE, Pa. – UPDATE 3/22/18 1:46 p.m.: The boil water advisory has been lifted for Ambridge and Harmony Township.
Boil water advisory lifted for Ambridge and Harmony Township.
Officials said the break is down a 50-foot ravine, and specialists have to come in to assess the situation.
LeeAnn Colalella, a local resident, woke to no water in her home Monday morning.
She’s not alone; while Channel 11 was at the Ambridge fire station, dozens of people showed up for drinking water, hoping the problem is fixed soon.
"I just need some water so I can clean up and flush toilets," said Emma Gibson of Ambridge.
Looking forward to seeing what you turned up today, Amy!

"We will be working well into the night to fix this."
Once the line is fixed, there will be two days of DEP water testing before things can go back to normal.
