(WBRE/WYOU) An update by the Suez Water Company of Dallas concerning Tuesday water main malfunctions on Route 415. The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted
The company tells Eyewitness News that the problem has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to Boil Your Water.
SUEZ Pennsylvania Operations say they took proper corrective actions to remedy the situation as quickly as possible and worked closely with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to ensure that all corrective action procedures, including collecting and testing samples for 2 consecutive days were completed.
During this time, samples were tested for Total Coliform and E.coli bacteria.
Suez reports that the water testing showed that these bacteria are not present in the water. Therefore, you no longer need to Boil Your Water.
