Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Canton (UPDATE).
UPDATE: the boil water advisory issued Wednesday, Jan. 11 has been lifted, the city said Thursday.
CANTON, GA — The city of Canton has issued a boil water advisory for a large segment of the area.
The area includes from Reinhardt College and Riverstone parkways, west to Cherokee High School and runs north to Puckett Creek Road, east to Waleska Road/S.R.
140, north to Pea Ridge Road, east to Reservoir Drive and then south back to Reinhardt College Parkway.
All water used for drinking, cooking or preparing baby food should be boiled for at least one minute.
Once service is restored, citizens should note the advisory will be in effect until further notice.
