The advisory was first put in place after a water main break that occurred on Lock Street and County Route 12 in the Village of Phoenix on Monday, which has been fixed.
The village says crews were working for about 26 hours to fix it.
Although water was restored for residents, a temporary boil water advisory was put into effect as a safety precaution.
