BOSSIER PARISH, La. – You are being advised to boil your water if you live in the Haughton area.

Officials with the Village Water System announced Tuesday that a boil advisory was issued after the water was turned off due to an emergency repair.

The advisory includes the area extending from: 100 – 219 Flagg Dr. and 301 – 318 Thomas St.

You should boil your water for at least one minute before eating, drinking, making ice or brushing your
teeth.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
