Boil-water advisory for 650 customers
Water service was to be restored Sunday afternoon to about 650 customers of Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. in Brown and Bartholomew counties.
However, the Saturday night water break left the possibility that some customers would experience air in their water lines or dirty water, said Kathy Ford, the Columbus-based utility’s office manager.
As a result, a boil-water advisory will be in effect until noon Wednesday for the same customers in these areas: State Road 46 west of the Stoney Lonesome area into Brown County Nelson Ridge Road, Dobbs Cemetery Road Georgetown Road, Lost Lake Baker Hollow Road Four Mile Ridge Road All of Henderson Ridge and Henderson Heights Hoover Road Lucas Hollow Road Harrison Ridge Road Mt.
Liberty Road Bethany Road Youth Camp Road in the Bethany area Whitehorse Road 850 West Bethany area, all other roads in the Bethany area Customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consumption or use in cooking and food preparation, Ford said.
Boil-water advisories: April 13
West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 20 customers on North Walnut and Lower Glen Dale in Huntington.
The advisory follows a water main break.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for approximately 100 customers in the Dover Drive area of Cross Lanes.
The affected area included Dover Drive from Big Tyler Road to Ridgecross Drive, Cactus Lane, Lynnwood Drive, Rockdale Drive, Jason Drive, Energy Drive and Broadmore Drive.
Boil water advisory issued for customers in Harrison County
The Greater Harrison County PSD issued the advisory for all customers from Buffalo Lake Road south to Kincheloe Bridge.
Customers will be under advisory until further notice.

Boil water advisory lifted for Latta
Latta Town Administrator Jarett Taylor announced the boil water advisory Saturday.
Taylor did not say the reason for the advisory.

West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 10 odd-numbered homes and businesses along 2nd Avenue from E Street to F Street in South Charleston.
The advisory follows a water main break.
Customers in this area should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
McDowell County Public Service District – Berwind system has lifted a boil-water advisory issued for its customers on April 9.
West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for 22 customers on Jarrett Street in Elkview.
Bossier Boil Advisory
BOSSIER CITY.

– The City of Bossier City has issued a boil advisory for a small area of Bossier City.
The advisory is for residents and businesses along Barksdale Boulevard between Beverly Street and Mason Drive.
The Utilities Department is performing an emergency repair on a 12” water main near the intersection of Beverly Street and Barksdale Boulevard.
Repairs began early this morning.
Customers in the affected area will have low water pressure through the duration of the repair efforts.
The repair is expected to be complete by 5:00 pm today.
The advisory is a precautionary measure and recommends those in the affected area to boil their water for one minute before consuming it until the advisory is rescinded.
The city will notify the media when the advisory is rescinded.
Boil advisory lifted in Trotwood
A boil advisory has been lifted in Trotwood.
It had affected residents on Main Street between Ohio 49 and MacGregor Drive and on Olive Road from the bridge to Burman Avenue.
The water has been tested and is safe to drink.
EARLIER REPORT (April 10) A boil advisory has been issued for some Trotwood residents following a water main break Tuesday, according to city officials.
The break occurred near the intersection of Olive Road and East Main Street Tuesday, a public works supervisor said in a release.
The boil advisory is in effect until further notice for all residents of East Main Street between Ohio 48 and MacGregor Drive, and on Olive Road between Burman Avenue to the bridge just north Wolf Creek Pike.
Boil water advisory lifted for Waynesboro
WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WJBF) – The City of Waynesboro has lifted the boil water advisory that was set in place following a major water main break, earlier this week.
Due to air and discoloration issues, the City of Waynesboro will begin flushing water lines in the distribution system on Saturday, April 14th, and Sunday, April 15th.
All customers on the city water system should be aware that their water could be “discolored” or cloudy for a time during the flushing process.
The city advises customers to check their water on each day during this process before doing laundry.
Customers experiencing “discolored” water should open the cold water tap in their bathtub and let the water run until it clears.

A water main break in Edgefield County has caused the Water and Sewer Authority to issue a boil water advisory.
The break happened on Five Notch Road.
Crews are working to repair the break and service should be restored within the next few hours.
The outage is affecting customers on Five Notch Road from Murrah Road to Gregory Lake Road, in the Bradford Place Subdivision, Bridle Field Subdivision, and the Hunts Grove Subdivision.
Customers in the affected area should boil their water for one minute before drinking or cooking.
There is no confirmed contamination in the system.
