West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 25 on one side of Garrison Avenue (opposite from Pacific Street) from Crestlyn Drive (included) to Edgewood Drive (not included) and Earie Street in Charleston.
The advisory follows a water main break.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for approximately 10 customers on Whaley Court in Huntington.

Boil water advisory issued for residents in part of Maidsville

MAIDSVILLE, W.Va. – UPDATE (3/26/18 12:44 p.m.): The boil water advisory has been lifted for residents and homes from 1151 to 1838 Lazzelle Union Road and all residents on Crafts Run Road.

Boil Advisory Issued-Southern Perry County Water District

A boil advisory is n effect for some customers of the Southern Perry County Water District.
Officials say customers located in the six mile turn area on State Route 93 and State Route 37 area affected.
Any customers who loses service will be under the boil advisory for at least 24 hours.
District officials say the issue is being caused by a water line/value repair project.

Boil advisory issued for section of Riverview Drive in Marietta

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – The Marietta Water Department has issued a boil advisory for customers on Riverview Drive from Alta Street to Coventry Road because of repairs to a water main.
The advisory affecting about 50 customers will be in effect until further notice.
Once service is restored, anyone in or near the affected area who has experienced a loss of water service or pressure should "rapid boil* their drinking water for two minutes before use.
All customers should also flush their own service lines through the cold water lines only until the water is clear.
Brown or cloudy water are normal after a water-service interruption.

Ville Platte water restored, boil advisory in place

The City of Ville Platte is now under a boil water advisory after the water in the city was shut off because of a main water line break.
According to officials, the water was turned off to make repairs to a 12-inch water line at around 5:00 pm Monday evening.
The water was restored just before 10:00 pm Monday night and a boil advisory has been issued until further notice.
Officials say the water line has been fixed.

Boil advisory remains in effect after water main break south of Lake Charles

A water main break in Waterworks District Two in Ward Three has officials advising residents to boil their water until further notice according to a news release.
The waterworks district says the line break happened Saturday and the boil advisory will stand until at least Wednesday.
The boil advisory will affect residents form Lincoln Road to Ham Reid Road and residents from Vermillion Drive to Lake Street.
To complete the repair of the water main, the waterworks district says there will be a partial water outage starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Boil water advisory issued for some in Lawrence County, Ky.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) — A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents in Lawrence County, the Lawrence County Emergency Management says Monday.
The agency reports the Big Sandy and Rattlesnake Ridge water districts have issued boil water advisories for Spankem Branch, state Route 828, state Route 1, Diamond Ridge Road and all side roads.
Any water used for cooking, drinking, oral hygiene and watering pets should be boiled vigorously and allowed to cool before use.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice.

Precautionary boil water advisory in effect for parts of Boone County

Boone County Consolidated Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory through noon Tuesday for parts of Boone County.
The notice applies to Consolidated Water customers living between Highway 124 on the north, Benedict Road east of Perche Creek on the west, Dripping Springs Road to Old No.
7 on the south and Old No.
7 on the east.
The advisory, which has been in effect since Sunday, came after low water pressure and a leak in the water main were detected.
Residents living in the specified areas are instructed to boil water for at least three minutes and allow it to cool before drinking.
Customers are also instructed to use boiled water mixed with a small amount of bleach to disinfect dishes.
They also should avoid consuming ice from automatic ice makers.
Water used for bathing and other hygiene purposes does not require boiling, but parents should supervise their children to make sure no water is ingested.

City of Lumberton under boil water alert

The alert affects 2,086 customers.
Leaders said water system officials notified the Mississippi State Department of Health of a system wide pressure loss because of one or more line breaks.
Health officials said customers should boil their water for one minute before use.
The water system will be notified when tests show the water is safe to drink.
Do not drink tap water while the water system is under a boil water advisory.
Do not use ice unless it has been made with boiled water.
Freezing will not necessarily kill harmful bacteria.
Do not use tap water to make drinks, juices, or fountain soft drinks.
Wash your fruits and vegetables with boiled or bottled water since they may have been exposed to affected water from grocery store sprayers.
Bathing is safe as long as no water is swallowed.

Colville Lake has been under a boil water advisory since 2004, but chief doesn’t care

The reason isn’t due to lack of access to a water treatment plant or proper training to operate it — the community doesn’t bother to send water samples to the territorial government for sampling because residents believe their water is clean enough to drink straight from the lake.
According to the territorial government’s 2016 report on drinking water, Colville Lake sent in merely two per cent of its mandated quota for water sampling in 2016.
The government requires communities outside Yellowknife send in 48 samples per year.
The requirement for the territorial capital is 228 per year.
Many elders don’t like chlorinated water But Kochon said many of the community’s elders drink straight from the lake because they don’t like to drink chlorinated water.
Colville Lake’s water treatment plant opened in 2007.
Kochon said he believes the lake water is clean, and it’s evident when the community changes the filters at the plant each month.
‘We are not too worried about contamination’ According to territorial government engineer Justin Hazenberg, the Department of Municipal and Community Affairs assists communities with the provision of clean drinking water and the Department of Health enforces regulations.
