CLAIBORNE PARISH, La. – You no longer have to boil your water if you live in certain parts of Athens, Louisiana.
Officials with the South Claiborne Water System announced Wednesday that all water samples came back clear and the boil advisory has been lifted for the intersection of St. John Rd. and Hwy 146 west to Pixley Rd.

ALTO – Alto Rural Water Supply Corporation has issued a boil water notice effective immediately for Highway 21 east of Alto, from the city limits sign to Farm-to-Market Road 241 and County Road 2610.
Water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use to ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. Instead of boiling residents can purchase bottled water or obtain from an alternate source.
Water system officials will send out a notification when the water is safe for consumption.
Boil water advisory issued for Bunn after water main break

BUNN, N.C. — A boil water advisory is in effect on Wednesday for the Town of Bunn after a water main broke on Nash Street.
The mayor of the town said the break was discovered around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Utility crews have since fixed the leak and water service has been restored.
Tests are being done to determine if the water is safe to use and consume, the mayor said.

Boil Water Advisory issued in Oak Grove, Kentucky after water main break

Oak Grove, Kentucky–The City of Oak Grove Water Department has shut down a portion of a water main to repair a water leak, prompting a boil advisory for some areas.
The boil water advisory affects residents in the areas of Good Hope Cemetery Road, Bumpus Mills Road, and Carneal Lane. The water main is expected to be shut down for up to four hours.
Residents are urged to boil water for three minutes at a “rolling boil” before consuming the water due to possible biological contamination.
Some Summerside residents put on boil water order
About 40 homes in Summerside have been ordered onto a precautionary boil water order by the Department of Health and Wellness.

The order follows a water main break yesterday that covered the areas of Notre Dame Street (from Central Street to Granville Street), Harvard Street (from Russell Street to Granville Street), Granville Street (from Milton to Harvard Street) and Spring Street (from Winter Street to Notre Dame Street).
The break required the shutdown of water to about 40 properties.
Repairs included cutting and replacing of water lines as well as flushing and disinfection. The precautionary boil water advisory will remain in place until repairs are complete and water sample results indicate the system has returned to normal.
Residents will be informed when the precautionary advisory has been lifted.
Boil water advisory in Dekalb

DEKLAB, N.Y. – Another issue with water for people in the North Country.
This time it’s in the town of Dekalb, where a boil water advisory has been issued.
It’s not due to lack of water, though, as instead crews cut off water to repair a pipe.
It should be back on now in DeKalb, but officials want residents to boil water before drinking or cooking with it until further notice–which could take another day or two.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Some Sellersburg Water customers are under a boil water advisory through the weekend and into next week.
Sellersburg Water customers in Jeffersonville in the Riverside neighborhood, as well as customers on the following streets: Dogwood Road, Acorn Lane, Royal Oaks, Locust Lane, Castlewood Lane, Juniper Lane and Rio Vista Lane are under an advisory until Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Officials issued the advisory Friday after a main water line break was repaired.

FULTONVILLE — Newly-elected village Mayor Ryan Weitz Monday reappointed long-time village clerk Tom DiMezza as village clerk-treasurer, and dismissed interim clerk-treasurer Kelley O’Kosky. O’Kosky had been appointed by interim clerk-treasurer by interim mayor George Donaldson and approved by village trustees in February. BYRAM, Miss. (WJTV) — A boil water notice has been issued for a subdivision in Byram.
Residents who live in the Lake Ridgelea subdivision should boil their water until further notice.
This affects 300 customers. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute for the following: cooking or baking, making icecubes, taking medication, brushing teeth, washing food, mixing baby formula or food, mixing juices or drinks feeding pets, washing dishes and all other consumption.
Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted.
