Boil alert lifted for East Side of Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio –
A boil alert has been lifted for Youngstown Water Department customers living on the East Side.
The department reported Saturday that all drinking water samples have been examined and found to be non-contaminated.
Homes and businesses east of Liberty and Early Roads lost water pressure due to a power outage Thursday morning.
Martin Luther King Elementary and P. Ross Berry Middle schools were impacted by the power outage and the low water pressure.
Youngstown Schools CEO Krish Mohip tells 21 News that he was notified about the situation late Thursday morning and was prepared to load the students on buses and take them to to a location where water and power was available.
However, Mohip says water department officials told him that power would soon be restored, and he decided to keep the schools in session.
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is now requiring that all cities follow this procedure for all depressurization of drinking water lines.
Boil water advisory: Eastern RockCastle Water Association

MT. VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Eastern Rockcastle Water Association has issued a boil water advisory for all customers along the following roads, and any side roads off of them:
- Climax Road
- Red Hill Road
- Three Link Road
- HWY 490
- Trace Branch
Customers are advised to boil their water for at least three minutes before using, or should use bottled water.

Boil advisory over for West Anderson

A subdivision near Lake Hartwell has gotten the all clear from its water utility to stop boiling tap water.
The West Anderson Water District rescinded its warning to its customers Thursday in the McClain Lake subdivision to boil tap water before consuming it.
The water system had water main break in the area Wednesday, which triggered the advisory for customers to beware until the water was tested and determined to be safe for consumption again.
District officials did not comment further Thursday afternoon, except to say the advisory was purely a precaution.
The subdivision is northwest of S.C. 24 and Whitehall Road, near the Anderson Regional Airport.
Point Blue boil advisory lifted; another advisory issued

The boil advisory for these three streets: Attales Rd., Whispering Pine and Johnson Rd., has been lifted as of today September 15, 2016. Your water is now safe to consume, you no longer need to boil it. If you have any further questions please contact our office at 337-363-5885.
Also there will be a new boil advisory starting today. This boil advisory will include all of Kennedy/Eugene Subdivison only. The water will be shut off within the hour and will be off for an approximate time of 4-5 hours. Once your water is restored you will have to boil before consuming. This is due to the repairs on a 4 inch main line. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This will affect approximately 300 customers with two being critical customers (critical customers are the Evangeline Parish Head Start and Angel Food Store). Boil Advisory: Town of Tullos

MONROE, La (News Release) – A boil advisory has been issued by the the Town of Tullos. Contractors damaged an 8 inch water line and has issued the advisory as a precaution.
This advisory is in effect until further notice.
It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:
+ Boil water for (1) one full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.

The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.
The town of Cairo is advised to boil their water for any use other than bathing, according to a release issued Wednesday afternoon.
Lake City Borough Is Under A Boil Advisory

LAKE CITY BOROUGH, pa –
A boil Advisory is now in place for those in the Lake City Borough.
All water has been shut off.
Crews are working to get the problem fixed and the water back it.
It is unknown how long this will take.
The boil advisory will remain in place until further notice.
Portion of Anderson County under boil water advisory

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C —
West Anderson Water District officials say a portion of their system is under a boil water advisory.
The McClain Lake subdivision in Anderson County is currently under the boil water advisory.
The Water District says that because it takes at least 24 hours to get test results, a boil water advisory is a precautionary measure issued until test results confirm the water is safe. Boiling water for at least one minute will kill bacteria, if any are present.
Boil water advisory remains in affect for Princeton area schools, 100 other customers

PRINCETON — West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for approximately 100 customers in Princeton following a water main break on Old Bluefield Road. The affected area includes Princeton High School, Princeton Primary School, Mercer County Technical Education Center, Princeton Health Care Center, Morningside subdivision, City View Heights and the Middlesex area including the city park.
The company says affected customers should boil their water before consumption until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms that may be present in the water. Customers are asked to bring water used for drinking, cooking, bathing and brushing teeth to a full boil for a minimum of one minute, then cool before use.
West Virginia American Water also recommends the following steps:
· Throw away beverages and ice cubes if made with tap water;
· Keep boiled water in the refrigerator for drinking;
· Provide pets with boiled water after cooling;
· Do not use home filtering devices in place of boiling or using bottled water; most home water filters will not provide adequate protection from microorganisms;
· Use only boiled water to treat minor injuries.
Water Shut-Off and Boil Advisory to take Place in Osage Beach

OSAGE BEACH, Mo- Water services in Osage Beach will temporarily be shut off on September 20th from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.
The water will be shut off for maintenance purposes. Areas affected include the west side of Osage Beach, east of Nichols Road to the Grand Glaize Bridge. This area includes Dude Ranch Road from Armory Drive, north; Case Road; Malibu Road; Murphy Road; Winn Road and Jeffries Road.
The City of Osage Beach says all businesses in the Industrial Park will be without water until 7 a.m.
A boil advisory will take place and stay in place until the water sample results are received back from The Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
