Boil Water Advisory for parts of Estill County

IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Estill County Water District No.
1 issued a Boil Water Advisory Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
The advisory is for customers in the following areas: 402 Eck Hollow Road to 8662 Red Lick Road, Sang Branch, Logsdon Lane, Deer Lick, Horn’s River, Jenkins Branch and McSwain Branch.
Affected customers should boil tap water to be used for cooking and drinking for at least three minutes until further notice.

Town of Fort Mill issues Boil Water Advisory

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and The Town of Fort Mill has issued a Boil Water Advisory to the customers of the Town of Fort Mill’s drinking water system.
Customers are asked to vigorously boil their water for at least (1) minute prior to drinking or cooking.
A watermain break on the Town of Fort Mill’s system has left the eastern and southeastern portion of the Town with no water for an extended period of time.
Due to the possibility of contamination of the water supply the advisory was issued as a precaution by the Town and SCDHEC officials.
Town staff will be performing bacteria sampling after flushing and will lift the advisory once negative samples have been confirmed for the affected areas.

Belleville boil-water alert lifted

Belleville — The boil-water advisory issued Sunday for the city’s residents has been lifted, officials said Monday.
As of noon, the alert has been canceled.
An early Sunday water main break caused a brief road closure on part of Huron River Drive and prompted the advisory.
Water pooled along a stretch of the road, causing traffic to back up and forcing the closure of two blocks of Huron River Drive between Madelon and Clarence streets, according the police.
The city’s water service was shut down at about 4:30 p.m. but restored by 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Boil water advisory lifted for Town of Roseland

UPDATE: The boil water advisory was lifted around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
***** TANGIPAHOA PARISH – Residents in the Town of Roseland are under a boil water.
According to officials, the area is experiencing a leak in the water supply.
Until the order is rescinded, all residents are advised to boil water for at least one minute.
Residents are encouraged to disinfect their water before consuming it, brushing their teeth and food preparation.
The town will update citizens when the boil order has been lifted after the water is tested by the state’s public health office.

Belleville water service restored, boil water advisory lifted

BELLEVILLE, Mich. – A boil water advisory for Belleville that went into effect Sunday has been lifted.
Belleville had its water shut off citywide for several hours after a water main break.
Water service has since been restored.
The broken water main was on Huron River Drive near Madelon Street.
A loss of water pressure can lead to bacterial contamination in the water system.
All customers in the affected area were placed under a boil water advisory encouraged to boil water used for drinking and cooking.
The advisory was lifted on Monday.

Boil water advisory in effect for portions of Pender County

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — A boil water advisory remains in effect for some portions of Pender County.
According to a statement released this weekend by Pender County Utilities, some areas are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a 12” water main break.
In the statement, the county said periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
The county is recommending those in the affected areas to boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water.
The county says vigorous boiling for one minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
According to Pender County Utilities Director Kenny Keel, water samples have been taken and pending the results, the advisory may be lifted by Monday at 6 p.m. Until then, the advisory remains in effect for water consumers of Pender County Utilities in the following areas: From 8605 to 11335 US 117 South Lucas Avenue Pennsylvania Avenue Rocky Point Elementary School Road Rocky Point Training School Road Lacy Padgett Road Bridgeside Road Fallbrook Lane East & West Tumbling Waters Road Babbling Creek Road East & West Strawberry Lane Tarwolf Trail Camellia Drive Rose Drive Magnolia Drive Southward along US 117 South to, but not including, the entrance of Woodhaven Subdivision

48-hour boil order is in effect in Cahokia

EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) — An official from Commonfields Water of Cahokia said there is a 48-hour boil order in effect for the Village of Cahokia.
According to police, residents called in saying they had no running water in areas across the East.
St. Louis region.
Police say the water pressure in the Metro East area, including Cahokia, Sauget, Centreville, East St. Louis, and others is now back to normal.
According to Illinois American Water, this was a power issue with Commonfields Water of Cahokia.
There is also boil advisory in effect for St. Clair, Mo.

Belleville boil water advisory lifted after water main break

The city of Belleville has lifted a boil water alert issued after a water main break Sunday.
Due to the water main break on E. Huron River Dr .
As of October 8, 2018 at 12 noon the boil water advisory has been lifted for the City of Belleville residents.
Repairs to water main were successfully completed.
The City of Belleville would like to extend thanks to your understanding and cooperation.
Earlier, the city’s website warned that the break caused a drop in water pressure, which can lead to bacterial contamination, which led to the advisory.

Guidelines from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Hotline can also be heard at 1-800-426-4791.

Boil Water Advisory: Flatwoods Canoe Run PSD

BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) — A boil water advisory is in effect for Flatwoods Canoe Run PSD customers on Little Buffalo Road and Beall Drive until further notice.
Residents are advised to bring all water to a boil, let it boil for at least one minute, and let it cool before use; or use bottled water.
Officials say the advisory is due to a main line valve replacement.
