St. Martinville boil water advisory rescinded for most
The City of St. Martinville has rescinded its boil water advisory for all residents except for those living on Oak Drive.
The water was turned off on Saturday to make a repair to the main water line.
Residents living on Oak Drive should boil water for at least one minute before consuming.
Church Point boil water advisory lifted
Officials with the Church Point Water system says that some customers are NO LONGER under a boil water advisory.
Customers along Marie, Michelle, Jeanne, and Francois Streets were placed under a boil water on Monday, September 10.
Water is now safe for consumption.
Boil Water Notice
A boil water advisory has been issued by Raleigh County PSD for the Clear Creek System due to a broken main line.
Customers are advised to bring all water to a full rolling boil, let it boil for one minute and let cool before using, or use bottled water.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Boil Advisory in South Zanesville
The Village of South Zanesville has issued a boil alert.
Administrator Danny Wiseman says due to two water main breaks officials are advising all water customers east of Linden Avenue, including the South Point Shopping Center to boil water before consumption.
Wiseman says customers will be notified when the boil advisory is lifted.

St. Joe boil water advisory lifted
ST. JOE, Ind.
(WANE) – Residents in St. Joe can safely drink water again after a month-long boil water advisory.
Clerk Treasurer Allison McKean said Tuesday that the town lifted its boil water advisory noon Monday.
McKean said all repairs at the town’s pump house had been completed and required water tests came back clean.
It was Aug. 11 when police said a suspected drunk driver drove through a dead-end street and crashed into the pump house.
Repairs were expected to take two weeks, but stretched out a month.

Raleigh County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for the entire Clear Creek System.
The advisory follows a low tank level.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
Boil water advisory remains in effect for McCormick Co.
McCORMICK, S.C. (WJBF) – A boil water advisory remains in effect for some folks in McCormick County.
Those in the Plum Branch and Highway 28 South area should still boil their water for a minute before drinking or cooking with it.
An advisory was put in place last week after a water main break.

Boil water advisories lifted for several water systems
Authorities have lifted boil water advisories for four water systems in Rhode Island PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Authorities have lifted boil water advisories for four water systems in Rhode Island.
The Rhode Island Department of Health says the advisories have been lifted for the Suez Water, Narragansett – Point Judith, South Kingstown – South Shore, and South Kingstown – Middlebridge water systems.
They have been in place since Aug. 31.
Officials say recent samples taken in those systems were free of bacteria.
The boil water advisory for people in the Narragansett-North End system is still in place because samples collected on Sept. 5 and Sept. 7 contained coliform bacteria.
Boil advisory issued for parts of Bristol, Va.
BRISTOL, Va. — UPDATE (9:58 p.m. Monday) According to City Manager Randy Eads, Bristol City Hall will open Tuesday at 10 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. due to the water situation.
Eads said no other city services will be affected.
UPDATE (9:06 p.m. Monday) Bristol, Virginia Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, September 10th due to the water outage and boil notice.
The BVU Authority has issued a boil water notice for customers supplied by BVU’s water distribution system in and around Bristol’s downtown areas.
That includes the areas of State Street, Euclid Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue.
This is a precautionary notice as BVU works to resolve a water main break off Goodson Street.
BVU expects to restore water service to all customers around midnight September 11th.
“BVU personnel are working to repair the water breaks in the safest and most expedient manner possible," explains Christopher Hall, BVU spokesperson.
"This notice is a precautionary measure to protect public health until test results confirm the water remains safe for human consumption."
