Causeway restaurants ready to open after boil advisory lifted

This system brought strong winds and heavy rain and the storm surge flooded areas across the Gulf Coast, including on the Causeway.
"As soon as we get the go ahead from the Health Department, we are going to open right up," said Leslie Sisson, Ralph & Kacoo’s Manager.
Nate was Sisson’s first hurricane.
"It was quite the experience. About 7 o’clock Saturday night and a lot of wind and rain.
Cooper Restaurants has two restaurants on the Causeway — Blue Gill and Felix’s.
"Sometimes when Mother Nature flexes her muscles we have to do a little clean-up and that’s what we do – we are just happy to be here."
"A lot of minor repairs that have to be done," said Neal Hollingshead, ED’s Seafood Shed General Manager.
The Alabama Department of Public Health lifted the boil advisory just before 7 p.m. Monday.
All restaurants tell us they will be open on Tuesday.
