CLARE, Mich. – Some families living in the city of Clare need to boil their water before using it.
The city says a boil water advisory is in effect until Monday night.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, washing dishes, cooking and brushing teeth.
The affected area includes some of the northern parts of the city down to the US-127 expressway.
Clare officials say elevated coliform bacteria was found in the water system.
