The Kirksville Utility Maintenance crew repaired a water main Wednesday and had the water shut off.

The affected area will be under a 48-hour boil advisory for citizens who live on Cottonwood Street, west of Walnut Street and on Walnut Street, south of Gardner Street.

The boil advisory will be from approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday until 3 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016.
