East Mountain boil advisory could end Monday

SCRANTON — A boil-water advisory for about 1,400 customers in Scranton’s East Mountain neighborhood could be lifted as early as this morning pending test results.
A broken line in the area that led to low tank levels prompted Pennsylvania American Water to issue a precautionary advisory Saturday night.
Affected customers were notified via automated phone call, a company spokeswoman said.
The company has temporary drinking water tanks at Engine 10 on East Mountain Road, Linwood Nursing Home on Florida Avenue and Lutherwood nursing home on Lake Scranton Road.
