FLOOD WATCH 2017: Water quality advisory for parts of West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – A new water quality advisory has been issued for some residents of West Kelowna.
The same goes for anyone seeking additional protection from microorganisms.
The advisory was issued because of increased turbidity in Okanagan Lake, where the water is sourced from, according to a press release from the City of West Kelowna.
Water quality advisories are still in effect for the Pritchard Water System and Sunnyside Water System.
Free water is available to residents affected by water advisories in the West Kelowna area.
Residents of Peachland under the boil water notice for that commnity also have access to the free bulk water.
