(KNOE) – Grambling State University has lifted the boil advisory for the campus water system.
The university released a statement on Saturday, which read: "The precautionary boil advisory for the Grambling University Water System and related areas has been lifted/rescinded.
The System has received notification that the water supply has been tested and found safe from the Office of Public Health’s State Regional Laboratory and the State Health Department.
Customers of the Grambling University Water System can now resume water usage as normal."
GSU was under a precautionary boil advisory after a storm temporarily knocked the power out on campus on Thursday.
