Water main repairs force shutdown of Greenwood Water System

GREENWOOD, La. – Due to emergency water repairs being performed on a water main, there was an interruption of water service.

All residents on the Greenwood Water System are currently experiencing low water pressure or no water. Once the water has been restored, a boil advisory will be issued for the entire Greenwood Water System (excluding Timberline Subdivision).

Boil water in a clean container for one full minute before consumption.
