Hebert Water System Boil Advisory

MONROE, La (News Release) – The Hebert Water System is experiencing problems with their water supply due to the recent road collapse on Highway 561.

This will impact the customers who live near the following locations:
95-2788 Hwy 561
Woods Rd.
Woolen Rd.
Sullivan Acres Rd.
Lakeview Rd.
Roddy Fluit Rd.
McFarland Rd.
Wheeler Bend Rd.
Betty Sue Rd.
White Perch Rd.
Bradberry Rd.
Duchense Rd.
Green Groves Rd.
Sweet Potato Rd.
Bill Frey Rd.
And all side roads in these areas.

Also Saturday August 27, 2016 the water will be shut off from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

This advisory is in effect until further notice.

It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:

+ Boil water for (1) one full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
