A local Husqvarna plant is under a boil water advisory due to a valve replacement, according to the city of Columbia.
The plant is located at 1001 Carolina Pines Drive, where a 16-inch valve replacement may have led to bacterial contamination.
Anyone at the plant is encouraged to boil water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking.
This also goes for residents near the plant who lost water and/or water pressure.
