Milton Middle students on normal schedule, despite advisory

Milton Middle School students will remain in class for the rest of the day, despite the facility being under a boil-water advisory.

Jedd Flowers, Cabell County Schools spokesman, said the school has acquired plenty of bottled water for students’ drinking needs and is taking other precautions to keep students safe as they continue the day as normal.

Flowers said those at the school are able to use regular water for flushing toilets.

The advisory is not affecting any other schools in the area.
