ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C —
West Anderson Water District officials say a portion of their system is under a boil water advisory.
The McClain Lake subdivision in Anderson County is currently under the boil water advisory.
The Water District says that because it takes at least 24 hours to get test results, a boil water advisory is a precautionary measure issued until test results confirm the water is safe. Boiling water for at least one minute will kill bacteria, if any are present.
