Portion of West Bloomfield Township under boil water advisory

A portion of West Bloomfield Township is under a boil water advisory due to a water main break Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 27.
The break was in the area of Hiller and Greer roads.
The following subdivisions are affected: • Wellington Woods • Wellington Meadows • Woodlands of West Bloomfield Residents and businesses may experience discolored water, low pressure or no water pressure.
Advertisement Township officials estimate it will take about three days to lift the boil advisory.
Gretchko Elementary School, 5300 Greer Road, will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, according to the West Bloomfield School District’s website.
The district said it would have bottled water available if th advisory is still in effect Friday.
A concert at Gretchko Tuesday night is canceled.
After school care students will be transported to ACS for Kids Klub.
