MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Missouri American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory to residents for the next 24 hours, for a small area in Maryland Heights following a water main break.

Officials recommend boiling water for three minutes before consuming.

The boil order advisory will be in effect for 24 hours. Customers will receive a call when the order has been lifted.
