Some Kingsville residents under boil water advisory
originally posted on September 13, 2016
The Town of Kingsville has imposed a “precautionary” boil water advisory for some residents due to an unplanned water works repair.
Water service for residents residing on Lansdowne Avenue will be disrupted between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Town officials say residents should plan to have little to no water available for the majority of this time. The contractor and the town will work diligently to restore water service as soon as possible.
As a result of this repair activity, the town is obligated to impose the boil water advisory until bacteriological testing confirms that the water is safe to drink.
Officials say this is only a precaution.
You will be advised by hand delivered flyer when the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory is no longer in effect, however we anticipate the advisory will remain in place until Thursday Sept 15th, at the earliest.
