“The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice for these customers,” a city notice states.
“For all other customers who experienced a drop or total loss in pressure, you may experience water discoloration or air in the lines.
To rectify, run a faucet for several minutes to clear the line.” The incident came a day after the city sent out an advisory after a wastewater spill at a treatment plant on Koala Circle.
Funderburk said the no swim advisory, only for that cove, remains in place Wednesday morning.
“It has not been lifted yet,” he said.
Once all levels have returned to (health department) regulatory standards, the no swim advisory will be lifted.
