Many, La. –Most of the town of Many had been without water since before noon when a contractor cut a major water line. That put a heavy demand on the water storage tanks.

A leak has been isolated to the corner of Washington Street and Highland Avenue.

Water lines throughout town are regaining pressure.

Only customers in the immediate area of the water leak are still without water.

A water boil advisory is in effect for the whole town until further notice.
