A water main break has caused a lane of Carolina Beach Road to close on Tuesday night.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority crews are conducting an emergency water main repair in the 4900 block of Carolina Beach Road.
The southbound turn lane into the 4900 block of Carolina Beach Road is closed with no right turns onto Silver Lake Road.
Repair work is expected to last six hours.
There is no boil water advisory associated with this water main break.
Drivers are asked to use caution when driving in this location.
