UPDATE: Boil advisory canceled for Graettinger, IA
GRAETTINGER, Iowa (KTIV) – A Boil Advisory in Graettinger Iowa has been lifted.
Residents are clear to drink the water.
According to the Palo Alto County Emergency Management Coordinator, a water main break, shut off water on the east side of town Sunday morning.
After the break was repaired, a water sample was sent to the Iowa DNR to determine whether the water would be safe to drink.
Friday at around 10 a.m., the DNR reported the water has been deemed safe to drink and the boil advisory was lifted.
GRAETTINGER, Iowa (KTIV)-According to the Palo Alto County Emergency Management Coordinator, the water emergency for Graettinger, Iowa has been canceled.
Officials add that residents that live on the east side of the tracks are under a boil advisory until further notice.
