UPDATE: Boil advisory lifted for Bossier Parish communities

BOSSIER PARISH, La. – UPDATE:

You no longer have to boil your water if you live in the Princeton area of Bossier Parish.

Officials with the Village Water System announced Friday that the boil advisory has been lifted for 115 Princeton Rd. to 676 Princeton Rd., all of Jester Rd., All of Mayfield Dr. and all of Piney Dr.

If you live in the Princeton area of Bossier Parish you are being advised to boil your water.

On Wednesday the Village Water System issued a boil advisory because of an emergency repair on the main line and the water has been turned off.

The boil advisory includes the area extending from: 115 Princeton Rd. to 676 Princeton Rd., all of Jester Rd., All of Mayfield Dr. and all of Piney Dr.

You should boil your water for at least one minute before eating, drinking, making ice or brushing your teeth.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
