UPDATE: Boil advisory lifted for Bossier Parish community

BOSSIER PARISH, La. – UPDATE:
The Village Water System announced Wednesday that the boil advisory has been lifted for Stewart Rd., Virginia Rd., and Baker Rd., in Haughton.
ORIGINAL STORY:
You are being advised to boil your water if you live in the Haughton area of Bossier Parish.
On Tuesday the Village Water System issued a water boil advisory after after the water was turned off to fix the main line.
The boil advisory includes the area extending from: all of Stewart Rd., all of Virginia Rd. and all of
Baker Rd.
You should boil your water for at least one minute before eating, drinking, brushing your teeth of making ice.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
