UPDATE: Boil water advisory issued for Lewis County High School

LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) – UPDATE 12:48 PM: A boil water advisory was issued at 12:45 p.m. for Lewis County High School.

The school is getting ready to re-open the bathrooms and are providing sanitary wipes for those who use them.

Bottled water has also been brought to the school.

UPDATE 11:52 AM: Bottled water has been brought to Lewis County High School.

Water is still off at the school and they are using buses to take students to use the restroom.

PREVIOUS STORY: Lewis County High School is without water Wednesday morning because of a leak.

According to the superintendent, they are escorting kids across the street to use the bathroom.

School officials were not sure when water would be restored. Stay with 5 News for updates.
