TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) – The boil water advisory was lifted on November 10, 2016 at 12:31pm.

A boil water advisory has been issued for the Monroe County Water District, affecting 370 customers.

The area affected runs from the Old Mulkey Pump Station to the County House Tank and customers on and along Celina Road to the Tennessee line, including anyone who has had low water pressure or no water.

The boil advisory was issued due to construction at the Old Mulkey pump station.

You’re advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes.
