During repairs, water flow will be shut off to the main water line from Matheny Avenue in Belpre to the northern end of the water main ending at EnviroTank Clean, including the water mains serving Lockhart Street, Camelot Mobile home Park and Joe Skinner Road.
Water pressure will be shut off beginning 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The repair work is expected to take less than eight hours to complete, but make arrangements to have two days’ worth of water available in case of unforeseen circumstances, the city said.
This repair work is necessary to maintain the long-term stability of the water lines serving the areas north of the City of Belpre, officials said.
A boil advisory will be in place beginning 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for 48 hours after water pressure and flow have been re-established.
