Drought conditions lessen across Connecticut

For the first time in months, there is an improvement in drought conditions across Connecticut. On Thursday, U.S. Drought Monitor said a section of the southwest Connecticut shoreline from Greenwich to around Westport is now under an “abnormally dry” classification, a reduction in intensity from the moderate drought rating from a week ago.
