Moderate drought expands in southern Iowa

SOUTHEASTERN, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) — Parts of southeastern Iowa are now in moderate drought conditions, according to the Drought Monitor issued Thursday morning. The Drought Monitor factors in rainfall, water flow in the rivers, temperatures, lake levels, soil moisture, satellite measurements, and crop reports.
